About Us

At Learning Treehouse, we are always educating minds and reaching potentials. It is a place where children learn, play and grow!

Vision

The Learning Treehouse envisions a nurturing and secure environment where young minds grow, explore, and thrive through high-quality, dual-language education in English and Spanish. We aspire to inspire lifelong learners by fostering curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning in every child.

Our Mission

At The Learning Treehouse, our mission is to provide quality childcare in a safe and secure setting where children are our top priority. We are dedicated to educating young minds through a dual-language program in English and Spanish that supports early cognitive development, cultural appreciation, and school readiness. Through intentional teaching, caring relationships, and engaging learning experiences, we empower children to reach their full potential.

Our Philosophy and Approach

The goal of The Learning Treehouse is to provide every child with the foundation they need for long-term success.  Our highly trained teachers use the most current, research-based methods to deliver learning in a manner that is most appropriate to the child’s developmental age and stage. Our philosophy is rooted in widely accepted early-childhood research that indicates the deepest, most effective learning is ingrained through play-based learning. Our strong academic curriculum supports free and structured learning in both the group, and individual setting, by providing a cognitive, physical, social, and emotional framework to play-based learning.  Play is an essential part of childhood. It offers the freedom children need to explore their surroundings, develop new ideas and concepts, and build a sense of competence, autonomy, and a positive self-concept.   Play based learning allows children to apply what they have learned to different situations, and practice decision making in each scenario. We believe children learn how to form positive, caring, cooperative relationships by interacting with children and adults. Our low teacher-to-student ratio facilitates such interactions in a safe, secure, and nurturing environment.  Through these interactions, children build valuable social and emotional skills, and learn to get along with others.

We view our children and families as our partners.  We believe open and honest communication builds a partnership that ensures the full needs of a child are met.  We also recognize parents as the most important adults in the lives of their children. It is, therefore, our goal is to involve our parents and families in creating a successful learning experience for each child, and assist in the task of providing a strong foundation for their child’s future development.

Our Director

Rozina Jamal

I chose to open a dual language program because I believe education should do more than teach academics—it should build identity, culture, and confidence. As a certified teacher in English as a Second Language, I have seen firsthand how language access empowers children to succeed both in and out of the classroom. My experience teaching in Alief ISD and Fort Bend ISD, combined with owning and operating a childcare center in Southwest Houston for over 13 years, has given me a deep understanding of early childhood education and the diverse needs of our community. In addition, serving as a regional trainer for an Early Childhood Education program allowed me to support and mentor educators while strengthening quality learning environments. With an MBA, I bring strong leadership and sustainability to my program, ensuring it is both educationally sound and well-managed. Most importantly, as a mother of two, my passion for educating children is personal. I am committed to preparing children not only academically, but culturally and socially, so they grow into confident, successful individuals ready for life.
